WEST - PARIS, LONDON, ROME

It's a documentation of human destinies in the transformations of European metropolitan cities. Vivid fate of the people of Rome, London and Paris are recorded through the viewfinder.

There is a conscious search for social issues in current situations that are in direct confrontation with the modern age or tourism in the most visited sites of metropolitan cities. This essay is part of a joint project with Matúš Zajac, who illustrates Asian cities in the long-term. These two worlds, east and west, are displayed into bilateral confrontation, which leaves the place for thinking about development, stagnation and decline. The project will be on view within the Month of photography in Berlin in 2010.
