was born in 1971 in Bratislava. He has got the art education at FAMU in Prague and at the Academy of Fine Arts and design in Bratislava. Consciously he links the document with visual elements. The views to the inside of society, to the life of immigrants in Berlin, to the inner world of faith are his themes. For a longer time he creates the cycle of portraits of various personalities. Currently he is working on a project of urban confrontations in Asian cities.

He works for the .týždeň periodic, since 2003 he is a photographer of the National Council of Slovak Republic. He is a founding member of the group With straight legs, which is dealing specifically with the documentary photography. Since 2006 he lectures the analysis of documentary photography on workshops in the House of Photography in Bratislava, since 2009 he teaches photojournalism at the Department of Journalism at the Catholic University in Ružomberok.

He exhibits his free work in Slovakia, Italy, Germany, the Czech Republic and Netherlands.
