won the 3th place in the competition SLOVAK PRESS PHOTO in the category Potrait for his photography „On the brink“ which was taken in Kenya, where he cooperated with humanitarian organization Viac než šperk in the poorest areas of district Kilifi. On the 1st annual of SLOVAK PRESS PHOTO 130 authors took part in and by their reportage and documentary photographs they reacted to many affairs at home and in the world.

Cordially invites you to a joint exhibition with the artist Fero Guldan called (Un-)mundane praise. The opening will be held on 3.9.2010 at 5.30 pm in the Quo Vadis House (Hurbanovo nám. 1, Bratislava).
Throughout the gallery space, their works will be organized as follows: on the first floor, Andrej Lojan will be presenting his comprehensive series of photographs Remarkable familiarity - personal testimony about the life of future priests. Ground floor will contain the paintings of Fero Guldan on the topic of Morning Prayer, poetic abstractions of morning prayers in painting, and in the basement you'll be able to find their joint works: photography by Andrej Lojan molded into collages by Fero Guldan. The exhibition will be open until 30.9.2012

The mutual project of photographers of association PHOS and painter Fero Guldan named The Stations of the Cross - Today and here has moved from the St. Elizabeth Cathedral in Kosice to Stephan´s church in Nova Kelca. It replaced the previous Calvary which was stolen 10 years ago.

will participate in the festival named Fotografia Europea 012, Reggio Emilia, Italy (11-13 may 2012) with his photo essay Forms of faith. His photos will be involved during the presentation of slovak documentary photography. The Director of the Central European House of photography Václav Macek picked up and prepared these cycles from the slovak documentary photographers. He will also present their at this festival.

will be presenting his photographic story about Slovak doctors working in the hospital in Buikwe, Uganda, together with projection of a documentary film from the series "My mission", the shooting of which he participated on. Along with the photographic presentation, an open discussion about the photographs and the topic will take place. The special guests of this event: doctors Jarka Kráľová and Pavla Bukovinova that worked in the hospital in Buikwe at the time that documentary shooting took place.
